Youth Commissioners adopted a resolution in January 2015, urging the expansion of voting rights to 16 and 17 year olds in municipal and school district elections. In March 2015, members of the SF Board of Supervisors introduced a charter amendment that would lower SF's voting age to 16. Check out the Vote16SF website for updates and recent press on this issue, or to learn how to get involved!
